Double Contest: Photography and Art

Heehee, I just realized this is my 30th post and I have 30 followers. How funny. No? Okay.

It’s the post most of ya’ll have been waiting for…!

Calling all photographers and artists!!!

Let’s celebrate 30 followers, okay? ;)

I’ve been wanting to do this for a while, but I limited myself, and thought a good time to do it would be when I have a certain amount of followers…30! I wouldn’t have been able to wait until 50, we can do something else then.

I chose something that just about everyone and anyone (or at least most people) can do. There are many more photographers than there are artists, but some artists are more skilled at art than they are photography, but I wanted everyone to have a chance and…

Yes, its something I like have to keep hidden from my brothers, my secret liking for cute stuff.

I would buy anime everything and look at pictures of chibi 24/7 and all sorts of stuff if it weren't for my bros. 

But! I guess this teaches me to grow up faster......

Um....

Who else likes it?

Anyway!

It would have been too complicated to show you how I drew the girl, but here's the best I could do.

I drew a circle for the head first with pencil, and then little ovals for the legs, and two more ovals for the arms. When I was finished with the details, I outlined the pencil in a special ball-point "marker" pen, and colored it in with colored pencil.

And something that chibi artists do is outline the person with a thick, smooth marker line, shown above.

And then I went crazy with the chevron. If you haven't noticed, I love chevron. XD

Just thought you'd like that. :)

So I wanted to let you guys in on a few updates. Remember that writing challenge over at Crescents and Cranberries? Well, you know how I posted chapter one, but I never posted two or three. Well...I had been writing it on my tablet and was working on chapter two when my tablet broke.

Yeah, plus, it was a pretty long chapter. So in case something happens like this again I'm just going to follow the rules given each week and write it, then post the whole story when I'm finished (I have no clue when that will be). I hope that's okay with you guys and sorry to disappoint anyone! :(

Another thing:

I started a Google+ group for my followers and I! There you can ask to join, I will make sure you are a member, and I will add you into the community. What the purpose of this is is you can get the "inside scoop" on my posts, see what's coming up next week or help me out with future posts, fun stuff like that. But followers can also share links to posts similar to something I might post on my blog, might it be a link to your blog or someone else's blog, just hence the name: Introducing... Inspiration! :) I just LOVE connecting with my readers!! <3it.

Photo Tag Contest

Hello, fellow crafters!

My friend and I are going to post this on our blog together (http://aglimpseofhisglories.blogspot.com/),

but I thought I could do a separate contest for this blog. After all, there are different people following each blog. :)

Anywho, how it works is you follow this picture above with the numbered tags, and everyday take a picture of whatever that numbered word means to you. It could be something different for everybody. Fresh could be a lacy wedding dress for one person, while for another person it could be a picture of a rainbow over a bright blue sky.

Get it?

Post these pictures on your blog, and I will keep checking every now and then. If you can, post everyday. If not, you can post multiple pictures with the dates included, but you have to take the picture on that day. 

*You can start whenever you wish, but there is a deadline.

The last day to start taking pictures is December 1st, 2014.

So the last picture should be posted on December 31st.

*You must take pictures in order listed.
